Terms & Conditions

Chic Home accepts cash, major credit cards, paypal or square. No personal checks are accepted. Online orders are paypal, square and credit card only. 

Returns may only be processed in the same method that the purchase was made. Cash refunds will be issued in the form of a check..

We do not accept responsibility for deliveries which are impossible or require additional expenses due to inaccessibility. Nor are we responsible for merchandise once consigned to a freight company. 

Vintage pieces are hand selected and curated and are sold “as is” to embrace the character, charm, and beauty of their imperfections. We do our best to show imperfections in photographs of our products. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more information or pictures about our items before you purchase. 

Shipping Policy 

Processing time 

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items. We try to get things ready to ship within 1-3 days. 3 to 5 for our framed mirrors and other oversized items that require extra care and handling.

Estimated shipping times 

North America: 3-5 business days

We do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose. 

CHIC HOME currently ships only to the U.S.  Shipping items that are oversized may require other shipping methods awe will invoice you separately for shipping. If shipping is less than quoted it will be reimbursed.

We ship via UPSP priority, UPS, and FedX. Customers are responsible for freight arrangements on furniture and oversized items. 

Delivery for a fee  is available in Southern California on request.  Quotes are available and we will  invoice you  separately for purchase and delivery fee.

Return Policy 

We gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations 

Contact us within: 7 days of delivery 

Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery 

Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase 

The following items can't be returned or exchanged because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for: 

Custom or personalized orders 

Please contact us before returning. Return shipping is at the customer's expense and re-stocking fees may apply. All items must be returned in original condition (including all parts and accessories). Items must be unused, unaltered, and unwashed. 

Conditions of return 

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. 

Furniture: Non-slipcovered furniture may be returned and/or exchanged within 48 hours of purchase only. Delivery expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser and re-stocking fees may apply. 

Slipcovered Furniture/ Special Orders 

Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit and cannot be altered, canceled or returned. Custom orders may take approximately 8-10 weeks to complete. Potential backorders or delays may increase production time beyond the control of CHIC HOME. 

Please request a CFA (Cut for Approval) upon placing your order to ensure proper dye lot. 

Due to the natural characteristics of wood, knots, cracks, holes and finish variations are to be expected and embraced. 

CHIC HOME does not accept responsibility for damage, shrinkage, fading or discoloration of items due to natural elements, wear and tear, washing or abuse. Please see care instructions on our website for optimal results. 

Customer receipt or proof of purchase is required for all exchanges and/or returns..
